The “Taste of Sea Kayaking” is a great, low-cost way to try out a sea kayak and get a little instruction, just to see if the activity is something you’d enjoy. In recent weeks, we’ve had several of them, and our participants have had a fun time (as have we). We’ve JUST ADDED a “Taste” on Saturday, July 23 (10 am – 1 pm).
In August, we have 2 on the calendar: on Sunday the 7th from 10 am to 1 pm and on the evening of the 24th from 6 pm to 9 pm. Of course, we may be able to schedule other sessions (particularly on weekdays or weekday evenings). For parties of only 2 or more, our group rate applies.
No worries if these dates don’t work for you. We know you’re busy! Just give us a call or send us an email. We would be happy to schedule a “Taste” class on a day/time that works for your schedule.
We’ll provide all the gear you need, including a sea kayak, life jacket, wetsuit, and paddle; some basic instruction on how to paddle the boat; and lots of Q & A as we paddle on Lake Whatcom.
If you get “bitten by the bug,” you even get to put half of your “Taste” fee towards our “Experience Sea Kayaking” comprehensive 10-hour course!
Summer is here! Come join us for a good time on the water, and get a “Taste” of one of the greatest activities in the Pacific Northwest!
Advance registration is required.
